A study of the economic and biological characteristics, as well as the adaptive abilities of imported cattle in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Studies have been done in the NGO «Baimaksky» Baimaksky region against the study of adaptive qualities of Austrian Simmental cattle for growth and development of offspring. For the study were divided into two groups of 50 cows each head pairs method – analogues, as well as two groups of young animals, their progeny, each containing 40 animals, including head 20 steers and heifers. In the experimental group consisted of Austrian Simmental breed, and in control – local cows. Feeding the experimental animals were balanced and equal compliance with the norms. The dynamics of body weight were determined from birth to 18 months of age. Calculated by weighting the results of the absolute and relative growth rate by the standard technique. The data obtained revealed that the Austrian Simmental cows breeding able to adapt to the Trans-Ural region and thus exhibit high levels of milk production. Heifers and bull calves – the offspring of cows Austrian selection yield higher growth rates as opposed to local Simmental calves. In conclusion, we can say that the process of acclimatization and adaptation to the conditions of imported cattle Zauralye the Republic is generally satisfactory.
