COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF THE BREEDING VALUE OF THE BULLS OF DIFFERENT GENOTIPES

The Red Steppe breed is the most adapted and widespread breed of milk direction in conditions of the South Russia, the state of which determines the degree of provision the population of the region with milk and diary products. To accelerate the process of selection for the improvement of productivity and technological properties it is used the gene pool of foreign related species in o ur republic which is formed on the basis of our investigation; according to the resultsof this work are stated that the usage of sires of the Angler breed is promoted the increasing the; intensity of growth and development of calves and heifers slightly (+ 80.9 kg) influenced on the yield of milk is surpassed in contemporaries of the Red Steppe breed. The great interest for selection is presented the sire Kalm 311 (½ of Red Danish breed) daughters of which excluding the fatness and milk quality; by all other features of selection and by the extent of genetic potential is higher than those of daughters as Anglers so as pure breed sire Parus 21 of the Red Steppe breed.
