THE CREATION OF SEED PINE PLANTATIONS AND PECULIARITIES OF PINE SEED GROWING IN THE DRY STEPPE OF THE LOWER VOLGA REGION

Protective forestation of the arid region must be created on the basis of a special technology including ecological, biological, selection and genetic measures that will allow to raise half an assize or to double their stability and longevity. Taking into account economic efficiency it is offered to organize in region specialized complexes including seed plantations on manufacture of the selektsionno-improved seeds and industrial structure on cultivation from them a high-quality landing material for each geographical area. It is established that formation of female or man’s inflorescences occurs according to an age condition of those fabrics on which they are put. At the beginning of the introduction of fabrics in fructification they give female inflorescences, and during later period the man’s. Time and conditions of maturing of female and man’s inflorescences at a pine are various, therefore the crop of seeds depends on all complex of meteoconditions influencing various phases and stages of their growth and development.
