In the experiment, three terms of sowing coriander seeds were investigated – 1st, 2nd and 3rd decades of May on three plots of land different in soil fertility: Yurievo, Zarelye and Derevyanitsy. The research showed that seed productivity depended to a great extent on weather conditions during the field period. The highest coriander seed crop0 was received in 2002 on Yurievo plot with an early term of sowing, descending on less fertile soils in Zarelye and Derevyanitsy. The content of the ethereal oil in the mentioned variants of the experiment made up 1,86% on average and did not depend either on the terms of sowing or on soil fertility. In process of the research there was found strong direct correlation dependence (r=+0,98; dxy=96 %) between the speed of mass formation of the plants and the coriander crop yield with regardto the terms of sowing; also there was registered complete direct correlation (r=+1,0; dxy=100%) between the speed of the production process on the plots with different levels of fertility and the corresponding seed crop yield. The received correlation relationships point to the fact that early terms of sowing coriander for seeds and the selection of the most fertile soil for growing the culture proves reasonable.
